After 30 years of being a chef and a restaurant owner of many kosher restaurants in the south of France and in Israel, Claude Labi, his wife and three children, have decided to take on the American dream, and bought the Café Vert in 2008. They turned a little place in a corner of harding into one of the place to go to for healthy and delicious breakfast and lunch. Claude and his wife Eva are making sure, every single day, that what is put on your plate is fresh and healthy. Claude being also a Pastry chef, introduces to the people of Surfside, a choice of his famous French pastries, like Opéra, Tartes aux pommes, croissants, baguettes, and many more things. Eva, after a few years working in the Café with her husband, decided to bring her own twist to the menu and added the Gluten Free Menu. From the pancakes, to the crepes and sandwiches, without forgetting the Challah, anything on the menu can be gluten.
